Yemen Mocha Haraz Shams. “Shams” means sun in the local arabic language. The coffee is carefully selected from the small farm holders farmers in the area of Haraz where Ghalib and Abdo and other exclusive lots exists.
The reason we name this lot “Shams” or sun, is because the area is very high in the altitude and the sun feels very close in the day time. Another reason is the bright acidity of this coffee. So we hope this coffee will shine brightly and spread like the sunshine.
The coffee is dried in the rooftop of the farmers, each farmer processed the coffee with his own traditional way, which gives the chance to the drinker to feel the hard work of the farmers in Yemen.
