Abdulhakeem used to be a qat farmer in the past.
He said that he wanted to create good income to support his family. He started repairing the soil for coffee and started planting coffee. Now he has around 2000 trees of coffee and keen to plant more in the coming years.
After he took off Qat trees, coffee now is his only source of income, to support him and his 7 children in the village. He is very enthusiastic about coffee and has taken off his last Qat plant 3 years ago.
He said that he is very comfortable after he changed from the Qat which is bad for the soil, to coffee which is good for the soil and Yemen economy.
Abdulhakeem coffee is very intense and have very distinct flavors.
